Friends
of the Oak Park Conservatory (FOPCON)
is a volunteer membership organization. Its
mission is to promote wider public awareness of the Conservatory and its
programs and to support its educational, horticultural and recreational
activities.
FOPCON
members receive a quarterly newsletter, invitations to seasonal events,
lectures and tours and discounts on plants purchased at its annual herb sale
and on tickets to the annual Oak Park/River Forest Garden Walk. FOPCON also sponsors a docent training program that provides
knowledgeable tour guides for school groups and weekend visitors to the
Conservatory.
