The Community Center is an Illinois not-for-profit
organization that was incorporated in 1975 for the purpose of providing
recreational, social and educational programs for the residents of River Forest
and surrounding communities.
The Community Center does not have any direct taxing
authority and derives the majority of its operating budget from program user
fees. Other sources of revenue include fundraising, grants, special events and
donations.
